Panty Raid Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When is the Panty Raid?
A: Saturday July 28th 2018.

Q: Where is the Panty Raid?
A: The Lambertville Civic Club, 8243 Monroe Rd Lambertville MI, 48144. Please only use this address for directions, it will take you in off the main road instead of through the park. This will help keep the peace with the show's neighbors!
Q: So where is that exactly?
A: Lambertville Michigan is half of what makes up Bedford Township Michigan, which is located in the very-most Southeast corner of Monroe County Michigan. The show grounds are just 2 miles from the Ohio State Line, and neighboring Toledo Ohio. Downtown Detroit is about an hour away, Cleveland roughly 3 hours, and Chicago is maybe 4 or less hours drive away to give some perspective.

Q: Is it a two day show?
A: No. The show starts at 10am Sat, and ends with awards at 4pm. The after-party kicks off after the awards, and offers more bands, a drive in style movie on the Jammertron™, and whatever else we can come up with to keep you entertained. We encourage everyone to bring a tent and camp on the show grounds Saturday night. The Civic Club serves a delicious breakfast on Sunday, and then we pack up and head home.

Q: Is this a family-friendly event?
A: This is a two-part answer. During the day of the show, we absolutely welcome families to come check out all the great cars, and goings on at the the show. We love the little hotrodders and have a few of our own. In the evening, it's up to your discretion, there will be drunk people and loud music.

Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: We would really, really rather that you didn't. There are a ton of people and loud noises throughout the day and night. We don't want any kind of incident, for your sake, for your dog's sake, for the sake of everyone else at the show, for the venue's sake, and for our sake, please leave the pooches at home.

Q: Will there be food or drinks there, or do I need to bring my own?
A: The Lambertville Civic Club works hard for us in the kitchen all day and well into the evening. They typically offer hotdogs, hamburgs, grilled chicken, pizza, french fries and an assortment of pop, water, and sports drinks at affordable prices. You are welcome however to bring a cooler packed with whatever you like. But for everybody's safety, PLEASE NO GLASS BOTTLES.

Q: Can I bring my gigantic camper?
A: Yes, but bear in mind there are no power or water hook ups at the show grounds. Just don't have the infrastructure for that at the venue. The band stage, and the kitchen tie up the only available electricity. No special cases, no exceptions, no whining. All campers will be parked outside the main show gate in camper row. The only exception to this is if you have a teeny tiny single axle travel trailer that: 1.) Meets the show criteria of being built in 1969 or earlier, and 2.) Is attached to your show car. Our show is mostly geared toward either sleeping in your car, or setting up a tent next to your car. That being said, camper row became it's own party last year with a sense of community and a good laid back party vibe. We would like that new tradition to continue, so be courteous and kind to your camping neighbors.

Q: Show parking: "Can I save a space for my buddy who's not here yet?"
A: This puts everyone in an awkward position, please don't ask. We are more than happy to accommodate to genuine special needs such as the elderly, or those who might be in a wheelchair. But buddy system parking with a guy that won't be there till who knows when isn't exactly an emergency situation. So, park without him, wait for him in the out lot, or maybe find a more punctual buddy.

*** VENDORS, ARTISTS, BANDS AND PROFESSIONALS, AN FYI FOR YOU ALL...***
* There is no available power at the show to plug into. Sorry, them's the breaks. The sound stage uses up the only power we have access to, plan accordingly.
* Do not bring food or beverages to sell. We give the Civic Club dibs on all food and drink sales so we can keep this event going at the same venue you all know and love.
*  If you are a vendor, be there prior to 10am, and please have any tow rigs or support vehicles clear of the show grounds prior to 10am when we open the gates to the public. The show will clear out a great deal after awards, you may move your support vehicles back in then to pack up, or set up camp for the night.
* Vendor spaces are $25 dollars paid upon your entry the day of the show. 1st year vendors, and Sponsors of Panty Raid 2018 may set up for free. Please confirm your space by no later than June 30th 2018 so we can plan to make room for you all.
